The lawsuit, filed by journalist Jared Paul Stern against Clinton supporter and employer Ron Burkle and Hillary and Bill Clinton, seeks to hold Burkle and the Clintons accountable for the smear machine they unleashed against Mr. Stern in order to destroy the New York Post. The motive for doing this was to clear the way for Hillary Clinton's 2008 Presidential ambitions, as the Post has been very critical of the Clintons and Burkle.
